Population Services International (PSI) was founded in the United States in 1970. PSI provides life-saving information, products and services to tackle some of the world’s most pressing health problems so that people can lead healthier, happier and more productive lives.
PSI Cambodia works to improve health outcomes for Cambodians through quality products and interventions that includes provider and consumer behavior change programs and quality assurance for health services across the public and private sector.

PSI started its operations in Cambodia in 1993 when it launched a social marketing campaign for Number One condoms, a brand that still has a significant share of Cambodia’s condom market. Since then, PSI Cambodia’s programs have expanded to include sexual and reproductive health; malaria prevention and treatment; HIV prevention; child survival; water, sanitation and hygiene; tuberculosis and nutrition.
In many of its programs, PSI Cambodia collaborates with the Royal Government of Cambodia to improve the health of low-income and vulnerable Cambodians using affordable, market-driven solutions.
